A landmark event, the Congress called for a historic ban on war to be adopted by the UN declaring war as “Illegal”.

The Resolution was sent to the Secretary General of the UN.

Rajani Kannepalli Kanth,Trustee of the World Peace Congress, has held affiliations with the United Nations, and prestigious universities across the World. His newest work is titledThe Challenge of Eurocentrism[N.Y.: Macmillan (2009)]. He is currently Fellow of Harvard University.

Padmamalini G. Raowas an Editor with Tata McGraw Hill Education, Noida, India.. Her early life, including social and college education, was in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, USA. She is a practicing lay Buddhist and is a member of Soka Gakki International in India, working with youth and educators to promote faith-based and value-based solutions to modern challenges.

Karen Ohnesorgeis a poet and artist whose central themes are compassion, spirituality, and love. She currently serves as Dean of Instruction for Ottawa University, a liberal arts college in Ottawa, Kansas, USA.

Tung-Yi Khois a Doctoral Researcher in Sociology. His research interests span the natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities. The Congress’s Secretary General, he also served as Co-Chair of the Thailand Congress of 2010.
