Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun celebrates its centenary in March 2022. In the 100 years of its existence, through the body of its alumni and illustrious faculty, the school has been a witness to mementous changes in our society. To commemorate the centenary, increasing number of old boys of the school came together in the past 10 years to retrace the school’s and also their individual journeys bringing out a volume each year of collection of essays and short stories. These volumes evolved into what historians describe as subaltern writing. Never before any institution in this nation made such attempt at alternate history writing. The first nine books of the series were runaway success, finding place of prominence in collection of books of several Rimcollians. Inspired by the initiative, the cadets of the school, presently undergoing training at the RIMC, have come together to bring out the 10th volume of the series.
